* Did you like Flickr's geotagging feature?
Seemed like a cool option but really didn't find a good purpose for it.
* Did you explore any of the other geotagging services? How did they compare to Flickr?
I really didn't look to much into this one. Flickr seemed to do a good enough job to have me sold on it.
* How will you use this tool either personally or professionally?
I really didn't find the use for either personal or professional.
* Why would anyone ever want to geocache? Seriously, why? What is wrong with these people?
This option of networking photos just really didn't do anything for me at all, couldn't find a solid use for it.

1. Which podcast(s) did you listen to?
89.3 the currents song of the day podcast.
2. Which of the directories did you find easiest to use?
Either one was fine I found most of them pretty easy to get to.
3. Has this Thing inspired you to do any podcasting yourself or to subscribe to a podcast to listen to it regularly?
Yes and no, I think it would be fun to get a group of people together and talk about fun stuff and just life in general.
4. If Walt Whitman were alive today (which I am certain that he is not), do you think he'd podcast? If so, what would he call his podcast? Would his parents listen to it? Why or why not? Discuss.
He would probably would Podcast maybe, I dunno but if he did he would for sure say why am I Podcasting when I could be writing this down. Cause like me I think he would say Technology is a pain and what is a computer. His parents well I don't think they would listen due to the fact hid parents were not the most supportive people in the world.

Research Project Calculators Thing, #14
1. Look at the RPC and the Assignment Calculator. Don’t try to cover every aspect of the tools, but rather browse the steps and consider how useful this could be to research assignments at school.
I found this as a very use full way to keep you up date on your tasks for the assignment or project you are working on. I also found it very nice that the program will e-mail you reminders as to where you should be with your assignment; it almost seemes as if it was a good way to keep you on task and not let things get away from you.
2. Look at the supporting materials in the Teacher Guide. Are any of these useful to you?
I thought the materials in the teacher guide were very nice to see, It almost gives you a look at how a teacher might approach this information and a assignment that they might be giving to a class.

Online productivity tools, Thing # 13
1. Which start page did you choose? Why did that one appeal to you? Will you make it your permanent home page?
I was sold on IGoogle, Loved this option for internet productivity and was a super easy application to navigate around. I now will no longer have to use Google search for topics images or anything like that at all. With IGoogle my options are all ready there with out having to make that extra step.
2. Did you find a tool that has some uses for you at school or at home? Which tool(s) would you recommend to others?
I google I'm down with it for sure.
3. How can the online calendars be useful to you?
I didn't find a great use for these really at all. I have a smart phone that I do almost all of planning on.
4. What about the to-do lists—helpful, too much work…?
I really felt this was to much work and felt as if I might have been double doing things.
5. Did you try out Backpack? What did you think?
I thought Back pack was good option to have available. The only flaw that I might have seen in it was; what if you didn't have a lap top available at all time to make update on you calender or what about if one of your Business partners was also lacking the laptop option. This is a great tool for big box corporate people, but I could see where small Businesses might not need this. Overall I think it is a great option to have.
6. Did you try any of the other tools in the list? Any good ones we should all try?
I was way to impressed with IGoogle.

Delicious/Social networking, Thing # 12
All right after going through these sixteen things, I can honestly say that this was one one of the harder things to figure out how to navigate around in. Once I had figured it out it was pretty easy to navigate around. I will say that this would come in handy if you were traveling and away from your home computer and needed info on something fast that would require you look up a web site that you had found some time ago. Delicious will help you remember those thing with out having to play the guessing game.
